::GROWTH GROUPS::

This year FPC is continuing its new program for our congregation, Spiritual Growth Groups. The program centers around three 6-7 week “semester” sessions: a fall semester, a winter semester and a spring semester. Each Growth Group meets weekly, in leaders’ homes or at the church, and consists of 15-20 members.

*** Because of requests for a Summer Growth Group (from teachers and others who were unable to attend a group from Sep 2009 - May 2010) there will be one offering on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00-5:30 pm, June 30 - August 4. It will be a six (6) week bible study on the New Testament book, Philippians. The study was developed by the Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, IL. There will be no audio-visual component to the class. ***

The Purpose for each Growth Group is to provide an opportunity for its members -

To learn more about the Bible, to grow in their relationship to God, and to have fun meeting new people.

What will Growth Groups be studying this summer?

FPC Growth Groups will be offering one topic this semester: The New Testament book, Philippians.

When will Growth Groups be held this summer?

This summer, a group will be forming and will be held on Wednesday from 4-5:30 pm. (See chart below) The first meetings will begin the week of June 30th, and conclude after 6 weeks (depending on class you choose). Each meeting will last from 1 to 1 ½ hours.

What will it cost?

Course materials will vary from $12 to $20, depending on the class; the class facilitator will inform you of the exact amount.

Can I volunteer to facilitate/lead a group? Host a Group? Be a Back-Up Facilitator?

Absolutely! Please note your request on your registration or email (see below) or call the church office at 714-526-7701.
Facilitator Training Classes will be offered before each semester begins.

How and When do I sign up?

Sign ups for all groups will begin after May 30th.
You can register for a group during the Sunday worship service by filling out a Connection Card, or
You can register on-line below.
You will be contacted by someone in your group to confirm your attendance. If child care is required, please notify your caller at that time.
