Music plays an important part in Reformed Worship.  Throughout centuries the rich musical traditions of our faith have spoken to the hearts of people.  We strive to use a variety of fresh musical elements in worship: from our pipe organ and Kirk Choir, to the Praise Team, to the Handbell and Children’s Choirs, we are a community of faith seeking to worship God in times of exuberant praise, joy, contemplation and reverence.

People of all musical talents and abilities are invited to join in the music making at First Presbyterian Church of Fullerton.  Whatever skills you possess - playing an instrument or singing - you are welcome here!  Please contact the Director of Music/Organist, Lynnette Ball McGee at LMcGee@FPC-Fullerton.org for further information.

Musical Ensembles:

The Paise Team - The Paise Team leads music and prayers in the 9:00am service.  The ensemble includes guitar, drums, bass, piano, and singers.

The Kirk Choir - Our adult choir sings for the 10:45am service each Sunday,  Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:15-9:00pm.  We sing a variety of music and welcome anyone, new or experienced, to join us!

The Kirk Festival Choir - This is a NEW choir that will augment our regular Kirk Choir for special Festival Servicves of Worship and concerts.  Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:15-8:30pm beginning in mid-October.  Contact Lynnette Ball McGee for details.

The Kirk Handbells – Our bell ringers get to experience the joy of music making while offering their musical skills to the congregation.  This is a multi-generational ensemble ranging from beginner to the more experienced English handbell ringer.  Rehearsals are on Sundays from noon-1:00pm.  Contact Lynnette Ball McGee for more information.

Children’s Choirs -  Our children's choirs provide a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about God through music.  Basic music fundamentals, scripture passages, and lessons of faith are learned by utilizing our rich heritage of hymns, spirituals, choruses, and anthems.  Choir is also a wonderful way for children to build self-confidence, develop leadership skills, practice teamwork, make new friends, and have fun!  The K-3rd grade choir rehearses on Wednesday from 2:30-3:15pm, and the 4th-6th grade choir rehearses on Wednesday from 3:15-4:00pm.
