"We seek to share the story of God's Children's Ministries Mission Statement
Upcoming Youth (Jr/Sr High) Events and Activities Sunday Worship Activity bags are available for children ages 3-12 at the entrance to the sanctuary.
Nursery Care We provide quality nursery care for infants and toddlers birth to 24 months. Our caring, paid staff is trained in infant and child CPR, plus First Aid. Nursery and preschool childcare are also provided for various church events. We utilize pagers so parents are alerted, if needed.
Little Lambs Our 2 and 3 yr. olds enjoy playtime, circle time songs, Bible stories, crafts and snacks.
Story Hour Children 4 yrs. old through Kindergarten love this class! They learn Bible stories, make crafts, pray before snack, & enjoy directed play time & guided conversation with our wonderful volunteer staff.
Cornerstone Based on Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences, we seek to engage kids gr. 1-4 in the learning process! We offer the same Bible story for 4-6 wks., approaching it through art, storytelling, computer, science, games, video, and sometimes cooking and music. Kids memorize the theme verses and are building a firm foundation of faith. They are becoming healthy disciples of Christ. Shepherds & Zone leaders are caring adult volunteers who minister to our kids.
Club 5/6 Preteens are ready for more challenging Bible and theology, plus marvelous crafts. After Christmas the curriculum involves topics which will prepare them for junior high school such as peer pressure, making friends, heroes, and making choices, to name a few.
Family Sunday Whenever a month has a 5th Sunday, all children 1st gr. and older remain in the sanctuary for the entire worship service, which is geared to children and teens. This is a unique time, and we have been told that families enjoy it! WEDNESDAY MID-WEEK PROGRAMS Littlest Angels 4:00-5:30 p.m. Children 4 yrs. through Kindergarten are excited to learn Bible stories, play on the playground, have snacks, create crafts projects, and sing in their own choir!
Kids' Club 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. Kids Club is for Gr. 1-4, a time for fun and spiritual growth. There are five parts to the program: snack and recreation, music/choir, Bible study, dinner, and crafts. Parents participate by helping to make the meals, serve, clean up, and others sit with kids as table parents. Many kids bring their friends!
Club 5/6 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. Because our 5th and 6th grades are at a special age, we continue the Club 5/6 mode on Wed. They participate in recreation, snack and crafts with gr. 1-4, but have a separate time of music/choir, Bible study, & sit at their own tables for dinner.
